My work is mainly inspired by Greece and in particular by the Cylcladic island of Paros where I have lived and worked since the early eighties. During my first visit I immediatly fell in love with the special light, the warm vibrant colours, the architecture of human proportions, and of course the people of the island.
Often I compare photography with long distance running, sometimes I can go for days on end without finding a single composition and then, after turning off, there it is staring me straight in the face.
