Kenneth Murray

Ken Murray, Carlisle GB, 1949. Studied graphic design and photography at the Stadsacademie, Maastricht. My photography can best be described as photographic minimalism. I look for a certain tranquility in my work, this to counterbalance a feeling of unrest and dissatisfaction with the fast society in which we live. The photographs are often of a graphic nature in which the original subject is isolated from it's surroundings consequently taking on an identity of it's own.
